Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?
We thought we were doing the right thing by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so trustworthy with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.
First, the communication from the check here "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and gave us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to resolve the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.
In the end, we ended up getting ripped off by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's customer service was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.
We're left feeling angry and suggest looking elsewhere for your tradesman needs.
